Flow Tiles ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Flow Tiles mobile puzzle game handles your information.

1. Information We Collect

Flow Tiles collects minimal information to support gameplay features. We collect the following:

• Display name — the name you optionally set in the in-app Settings screen. Stored locally on your device and in Firebase Firestore so it can appear on the leaderboard. If you never set a name, "Anonymous" is used.
• Anonymous player ID — a randomly generated identifier assigned by Firebase Anonymous Authentication when you first launch the app. Used to identify your leaderboard entry. No email, phone number, or password is required.
• High scores & gameplay statistics — your best score, Legends Zone wins, and related stats are stored locally and synced to Firestore for leaderboard rankings.

Local preferences (sound, haptics, music, unlocked levels, Legends Zone progress, remove-ads state) are stored on your device using SharedPreferences and are never transmitted to any server.

2. How the App Works

Flow Tiles is a connect-the-dots puzzle game. You drag paths between matching colored dots on a grid with the goal of filling every single cell. The game is primarily offline. An internet connection is only used for leaderboard syncing and serving advertisements.

3. Firebase Services Used

• Firebase Anonymous Authentication — creates an anonymous player ID on your device. No personal information is collected or required.
• Cloud Firestore — stores player display name, anonymous player ID, high score, Legends Zone wins, and last-updated timestamp for the global leaderboard.

4. Advertising & Tracking

Flow Tiles uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob is operated by Google and may collect device information such as advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android), device type, IP-based coarse location, and ad-interaction data to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance.

Tracking (iOS App Tracking Transparency). Under Apple's definition, linking data collected in this app with data collected in other companies' apps or websites for targeted advertising constitutes "tracking." When you first view an ad on iOS, you will see the system App Tracking Transparency prompt:

• If you allow tracking, AdMob may use your advertising identifier to serve personalized ads and measure their effectiveness across apps.
• If you deny tracking, AdMob will automatically switch to non-personalized ads. Your advertising identifier is not used for cross-app tracking in that case. The game remains fully playable either way.

Data that may be used to track you (when tracking is allowed): Device ID (IDFA/AAID) and advertising data such as ad impressions and interactions.

Data linked to your anonymous player identity: device ID, coarse (IP-based) location, product interaction, advertising data, and diagnostic data (crash and performance data collected by the advertising SDK).

The app offers an optional one-time "Remove Ads" in-app purchase. Once purchased, no further advertisements are shown and no ad-related data is collected by the AdMob SDK.

5. In-App Purchases

Flow Tiles offers a "Remove Ads" non-consumable in-app purchase processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. All transactions are handled by the respective platform.

6. Data Security

All data transmitted between the app and Firebase is encrypted in transit using TLS. Firestore security rules restrict access so that players can only update their own leaderboard entries. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. Firebase data (leaderboard entries) persists until you request deletion.

7. Children's Privacy

Flow Tiles does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require any personally identifiable information to play. The game content is suitable for all ages.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Leaderboard data is retained as long as your anonymous player ID exists. Local data is deleted when you uninstall the app. To request deletion of your leaderboard data from our servers, contact us at the email below.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app's functionality changes. Any updates will be reflected in the app store listing or within the app.
